MLT Job Description / Responsibilities

• Operate Laboratory Equipment: Learn to use and maintain cutting-edge medical lab instruments, ensuring accurate diagnostic results.
• Perform Routine Testing: Conduct basic laboratory tests to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating patients.

• Documentation and Reporting: Accurately document test findings and promptly report results to healthcare providers.

Requirements

• Education: Associate's degree in Medical Laboratory Technology, Clinical Laboratory Technology, Biology, or a related field. Recent graduates or students in the final stages of their MLT program are encouraged to apply.
• Certification: Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) certification through ASCP, AMT, or equivalent preferred (or eligibility to obtain).
• Skills: Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Basic computer proficiency for lab reporting and data entry. Quality interpersonal skills.
