Onboarding (Day One Priority)

• Serve as the primary owner of the new hire onboarding experience; from offer acceptance through first 90 days
• Design and continuously improve onboarding workflows, checklists, and touchpoints across HR, IT, and hiring managers
• Partner with hiring managers to make sure new hires have what they need to be productive fast; not just paperwork, but real context and connection
• Track onboarding feedback and iterate based on what you learn.

Core People Ops Support

• Provide day-to-day generalist support across the employee lifecycle — from new hire logistics to offboarding
• Maintain accurate, organized HR records and systems
• Support People Ops projects as they come up; org changes, process documentation, employee communications, and ad hoc initiatives
• Help identify where AI tools and automation can take manual work off the team's plate

You'll have the following to succeed in this role:

• 2 years of HR/People Ops experience, with direct onboarding ownership strongly preferred
• A true self-starter. You don't need someone checking in on you daily; you manage your own workload, flag risks early, and bring solutions
• Comfortable with AI tools and genuinely curious about using them to work smarter; whether that's drafting communications, building resources, or streamlining a manual process
• Strong organizational skills and follow-through
• Clear, human communication style; you write and speak like a person, not a policy manual
• Discretion and sound judgment with sensitive, confidential information
• Experience with Lattice, an HRIS, or similar people systems is a plus, but adaptability matters more than any single tool
• Bonus: experience supporting L&D programs, even informally
