Job Description
Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a skilled Emergency Room Registered Nurse to join our dynamic healthcare team. This position is essential in providing high-quality care to patients in the emergency department. The successful candidate will have a passion for patient care and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the emergency department.
• Perform triage and assess patients to determine priorities of care.
• Administer medications and provide treatments as prescribed by medical staff.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Monitor and document patient progress and respond to changes in patient conditions.
• Educate patients and their families regarding health conditions and ongoing care.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 12 months of permanent nursing experience in the emergency room specialty.
• Valid Ohio nursing license or a compact state license in hand at the time of submission.
• Current AHA or American Red Cross certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS are required.
• TNCC certification is preferred.
• Must be available to work every other holiday and manage varying schedules as needed.
• Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessments during orientation is required.

Shift Details

This position involves day shifts, working three 12-hour shifts from 11:00 AM to 11:30 PM.
