Lifeline Emergency Medical Tech - EMT - Transport TechFull time – 36 hours – Rotating Shift.The EMT Transport Technician provides input into the care of the acute patient, anticipates and assists in stabilization, and maintenance of current therapeutic modalities. Functions under the rules, regulations and protocols of Maryland's Emergency Medical Services System as an EMT-Basic, during out-of-hospital patient transport by ambulance, medical campus emergency responses, and during medical standby events.Education/Experience:High school diploma or equivalent requiredSuccessful completion of an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)- Basic ProgramKnowledge of setting up and management of specialized patient care equipment utilized during medical transport process.Required minimum of one year's experience as a full-time BLS provider within last two years and preferred two years of EMS or hospital experience.Minimal job requirementsBe in possession of a current National Registry Emergency Medical Technician- Basic certification.Current Maryland EMT- Basic certification required upon hire -or- obtained within the first 90 days of employment.District of Columbia EMT - Basic certification required upon hire -or- within the first 120 days of employmentPennsylvania EMT certification required upon hire -or- within the first 120 days of employmentValid CPR certification required upon hireUnrestricted valid driver's licenseImportant Notices:***Authorization to Work in the United States: Applicants who require sponsorship now or in the future will not be considered for this position.Salary Range: Minimum $19.25/visit - Maximum $31.80/visit. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
