Assist in determining the suitability of donors Establish rapport with donors to ensure customer happiness while maintaining donor confidentiality Respond to and assist with handling donor reactions Monitor donors and equipment to ensure donor health and product quality Set up, disconnect, and operate automated plasmapheresis machines Disconnect and dispose of contaminated disposable equipment Work in a plasma center while following occupational safety and protective-equipment requirements Requirements High School diploma or GED Superior customer service standards Ability to work a flexible schedule Interest in making a difference in the world Obtain required state licensures or certifications where applicable Ability to comprehend and follow oral and written instructions Ability to listen to and understand spoken information Ability to relate sensitive information to diverse groups Ability to work standing for 6 to 8 hours per day Ability to bend and twist the neck and waist for 1-2 hours per day Frequent hand movement and precise coordinated finger, hand, and wrist movements Ability to lift 15 lbs., with a maximum lift of 50 lbs.
