Diagnostic Technologist - Outpatient

This is a 13-week contract position.

8-hour shift, 8am start time, with weekends required.

The Diagnostic Technologist in the Outpatient setting is responsible for the positioning of patients for x-ray imaging, including the chest, hand, wrist, forearm, elbow, knee, foot, or ankle. This role involves performing imaging procedures independently without direct supervision, operating X-ray equipment, processing images, and documenting into PACS. The Diagnostic Technologist will also provide basic patient care under the supervision of the clinic nurse.

• Position patients for chest, hand, wrist, forearm, elbow, knee, foot, or ankle x-rays.
• Perform imaging procedures and operate X-ray equipment.
• Process images and document findings into PACS.
• Provide basic patient care including obtaining vital signs and preparing patients for clinician evaluation.
• Assist clinicians and maintain an orderly, well-stocked work area.
• May float to Main Radiology as needed.

• Current full Certificate of Radiologic Technology issued by the Department of Health Services, State of California (CRT).
• Current CPR Certification.
• California issued Fluoroscopy Permit.
• Current ARRT licensure.
• EPIC EMR experience.
• Previous travel experience preferred.
