If you enjoy working hard in a fast-paced environment, then join our growing team.What Does a Warehouse Manager Do?Oversees outside yard operations and ensures accuracy on all deliveries by effectively managing a team of warehouse employees and delivery driversCoordinate tasks and assignments to employees daily and monitors the overall workflow of operationAssists team with unloading, loading materials and building loads as neededAssisting customers by answering questions and handles customer complaints in a professional mannerMaintains inventory by properly labeling and placing materials and supplies in stock; this goes hand in hand with making sure to maintain your area, it should be tidy and up to standardAssists the Store Manager in effectively running the store and lumber yard to ensure company standards and procedures are followed and exceptional customer service is providedAdheres to all safety policies and procedures and ensures all employees are properly trained and follow safety standardsAssists manager with exterior and interior store maintenanceConducts training of new hires and ongoing training of existing staff with guidance and support from Store ManagerMonitors staff daily performance and provides redirection, as neededCommunicates frequently and consistently with staff membersParticipates in manager meetings, financial reviews and training events, as requestedResults-oriented with the ability to serve stores with humility and be a steward of Nation’s Best’s valuesStrong interpersonal skills with a willingness to consistently provide superior customer service skillsBe able to follow through a ticket from start to finish, making sure that the result is a happy customer and delivered materialsWhat Does It Take to Be a Warehouse Manager?High school diploma or equivalent / 1+ years of Lumber yard ManagementComputer proficiencyWork outdoors.Results-oriented with ability to serve stores with humility and be a steward of Nation’s Best’s values.Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while remaining adaptable and flexible.Strong interpersonal skills with willingness to consistently provide superior customer service skills.Ability to lift up to 50-75lbs consistently and bend, twist, squat and reach throughout work shift.What’s It Like To Work for Nation’s Best?Teamwork: All of our positions, in all of our stores, are hands-on.
