Mammography Technologist

We are seeking a Mammography Technologist to provide safe, high-quality imaging and compassionate patient care in a collaborative team environment. Key Responsibilities Include Performing mammography exams following physician orders and protocols, ensuring patient safety and comfort. Gathering patient history, screening for contraindications, and explaining procedures clearly to reduce anxiety. Protecting patient privacy, positioning patients safely, and assisting with transfers as needed. Reviewing images for quality and completeness, maintaining high first-time acceptance rates. Operating mammography equipment safely, optimizing techniques, and adhering to infection control standards. Conducting QC tests, accurately labeling and documenting images, and ensuring equipment readiness. Maintaining a clean, stocked mammography suite and providing clear pre- and post-exam instructions. Supporting team training, documenting procedures promptly, and communicating professionally in a fast-paced setting. Qualifications Include High school diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program. At least 1 year of radiologic technologist and mammography experience. Certifications: ARRT-R, ARRT-M, and BLS (American Heart Association).
