Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor at Sunny Square, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Group Therapy: Facilitate engaging and therapeutic group sessions that foster connection, support, and shared learning among participants.
  • \n
  • Individual Therapy: Provide one-on-one counseling that is tailored to the unique needs of clients, helping them navigate their thoughts, feelings, and coping strategies.
  • \n
  • Treatment Planning: Collaborate with clients to co-create individualized, goal-oriented treatment plans that align with their personal growth and recovery journey.
  • \n
  • Progress Monitoring: Employ various assessment tools and feedback mechanisms to track client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
  • \n
  • Collaboration: Work closely with a multidisciplinary team of professionals, ensuring that care is coordinated and comprehensive. Regular communication and consultations will enhance client outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be young adults (ages 18-30) who are currently enrolled in our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP). This population may be dealing with mental health issues ranging from anxiety and depression to more complex disorders. Your work will directly contribute to their emotional and psychological development during a pivotal stage of their lives.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • A Master’s Degree in a relevant field such as counseling, social work, psychology, or marriage and family therapy.
  • \n
  • Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in the state of Illinois.
  • \n
  • Demonstrated clinical skills and a deep understanding of mental health treatment methodologies.
  • \n
Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, the following experiences will be considered advantageous:

  • Previous work in outpatient settings, particularly with young adults and teens.
  • \n
  • Experience with evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

  • Familiarity with treatment planning and progress assessment tools.

Compensation and Benefits\n

Sunny Square Family Guidance Center offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 85,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience. In addition, we provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
