Role Overview Provides direct patient care in a 32-bed orthopedic/neuro spine unit, focusing on elective surgeries such as joint replacements and spine procedures. Responsibilities include assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care in collaboration with the healthcare team, patients, and families. Emphasizes patient and family-centered care, education on illness management, and ensuring safety and quality standards. Utilizes critical nursing skills to address physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences and barriers. Maintains adherence to regulatory compliance and promotes professional development. Qualifications & Skills Nursing Diploma/Associate's Degree required; Bachelor's Degree preferred. RN licensure required; no prior experience necessary, but Ability to work in a safety-sensitive environment with alertness and professionalism. Key Duties Deliver patient-centered care, including education on post-treatment and medication management. Develop and document individualized care plans with measurable goals. Assess patient needs holistically, respecting cultural, emotional, and spiritual factors. Participate in quality improvement, safety initiatives, and professional growth activities.
