Clinical Nutrition Manager

Role Overview Sodexo has an opportunity for an experienced Clinical Nutrition Manager II to manage the clinical program at HCA Florida Capital Hospital in Tallahassee, Florida . Capital Regional is a 288 bed facility that serves a variety of patients including pediatrics, NICU, cardiovascular, behavioral health, inpatient rehabilitation and bariatrics. Up to $5000 tuition reimbursement annually Free Parking & Free Meals What You’ll Do Oversee all day to day clinical nutrition services; Manage the dietitian team, and leading and developing a diverse clinical staff including inpatient, outpatient, adult and pediatrics. Serve in a clinical leadership role on Food and Nutrition Services team; Be responsible for executing and maintaining Sodexo standards for the Clinical nutrition programs Integrate fully within our client's organization becoming a trusted adviser and member of the accounts leadership team. Will represent the department on hospital-wide medical staff committees. Familiarity with the Nutrition Care Process a plus. Work to achieve continuous improvement in patient satisfaction safety and clinical outcome scores. What You Bring Be a Registered Dietitian with acute care experience and demonstrate a great clinical knowledge base; Have proven supervisory or management experience with an aptitude for program growth and development; Demonstrate excellent communication, leadership and customer service skills; and/or Have experience with regulatory accreditation, regulatory readiness and review, and establishing and maintaining standards of care. EMR experience a plus Qualifications & Requirements Minimum Education Requirement: Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24: Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) Credentials Requirement: Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire. In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hire Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice. In some states and/or facilities state certification/licensure is required at the time of hire Minimum Management Experience: At least 13 months experience supervising and directing people and other resources to achieve specific end results within limited timeframes.
