Full Job Description

We are seeking a caring, dependable, and passionate Cook to join our team at Celebree School of The Woodlands Creekside . In this role, you will prepare nutritious and delicious meals for our children, maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, and play an important part in supporting the health, happiness, and growth of our students through healthy eating habits.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals and snacks following approved menus and nutritional guidelines for young children.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, food prep, and dining areas in compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Monitor kitchen inventory and ensure fresh ingredients and supplies are stocked and available.
• Work with school leadership and families to accommodate allergies, dietary restrictions, and special meal needs.
• Store food properly and follow all safe food handling and sanitation procedures.
• Support a positive mealtime experience for children and staff.

Qualifications

• Previous cooking experience required; childcare or school setting preferred.
• Experience cooking for 150+ children is a must
• Knowledge of nutrition and dietary needs of young children.
• Ability to follow recipes, menus, and portion guidelines efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to cleanliness and safety.
• Positive attitude, reliability, and teamwork skills.

Physical Demands The physical demands are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. Frequent bending, stooping, squatting, and reaching, lifting, and carrying; ability to lift 50 pounds.

Compensation: $12.00 - $16.00 per hour
