Loan Assistant Think of this role as the engine room of the lending team, you keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes while also helping our customers sail forward with confidence. From processing new loans to supporting renewals and gathering key documents, you're the go-to expert who brings order to the details and clarity to the process. You'll collaborate daily with Loan Officers, Loan Operations, and customers to make sure every "I" is dotted, every "T" is crossed, and every loan is handled with care. What You Will Do: Enter and maintain data on the system for new, renewed, and modified loans Handle ongoing loan requests, including new loans, renewals, modifications, and extensions Work directly with Loan Operations & Loan Officers so that loans are processed accurately and efficiently Work with customers to obtain required loan documentation Review and clear loan exceptions weekly Gather documents needed for annual loan reviews Administer and service active loans Assist with the processing of loan payments, payoffs, and advances Maintain a working knowledge of bank loan policy and federal and state banking regulations, as needed Why You'll Love Working with Us: Join a team that's been voted one of Arkansas' Best Places to Work for five years running Be part of a professional environment that values precision, integrity, and collaboration Enjoy a supportive culture that celebrates wins (big and small!) and encourages continuous learning Access to ongoing training, development, and opportunities for internal advancement. What We're Looking For: Education: Associate's degree (business-related field preferred). Experience: 1-2 years of business office work experience. Skills: Proficiency in Excel, web-based technology, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, excellent communication, organizational skills, and attention to detail. Attributes: Service-oriented, excellent time management, and multitasking abilities. Location: Must be located within 30 miles of Greenbrier, AR, or willing to relocate Availability: Full-time hours: Mondays through Fridays between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Why Join Us?
