Firehouse Subs is hiring a full-time Assistant Restaurant Manager to lead daily shifts, drive guest hospitality, and build a high-performing team alongside our General Manager.

What You’ll Do

• Lead Shifts: Run opening, mid, and closing shifts with a hands-on presence on the counter and sandwich line, maintaining high energy and fast ticket times.
• Support the Team: Train, coach, and motivate Crew Members and Shift Leaders; adjust in-shift labor to match hourly sales trends.
• Maintain High Standards: Enforce strict food safety, recipe compliance, portion control, slicer safety, and proper steaming procedures.
• Manage Inventory & Prep: Oversee daily prep sheets, rotate food using FIFO, and verify incoming truck deliveries against invoices.
• Deliver Hospitality: Resolve guest feedback promptly and lead catering order fulfillment (box lunches, sub platters) with 100% accuracy.
• Cash & Security: Handle register audits, drawer counts, safe reconciliations, and daily store closing procedures.

What We’re Looking For

• 1–2+ years of supervisory or shift leadership experience in fast-casual or quick-service restaurants (QSR).
• ServSafe Manager certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days of hire).
• Strong work ethic with an active, hands-on leadership style.
• Open availability for variable shifts, including evenings, weekends, and peak lunch hours.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and comfortably lift up to 50 lbs (boxes of meat, cheese, and produce).
