Job Description & Requirements Specialty: MICU - Medical Intensive Care Unit Discipline: RN Start Date: 10/05/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, rotating Employment Type: Travel Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) Registered Nurse Schedule 3x12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week, including every other weekend. Patient Ratios Estimated patient ratios range from 1:1 to 1:2. Experience Requirements Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Medical ICU. EPIC experience is required. Certifications Required BCLS ACLS NIHSS AHA certifications only Skills Required Proficiency in intravenous (IV) start. Experience with telemetry monitoring. Competency in managing ventilators. Preferred Qualifications Previous travel nursing experience. Proficiency in the EPIC documentation system. Specialized Experience Experience in the following areas is highly valued: Multisystem Organ Failure Respiratory Failure COVID-19 Sepsis Post-Cardiac Arrest Care Diabetic Ketoacidosis (DKA) Liver Failure Renal Failure Special Procedures and Unit Details Continuous Glucose Monitoring for Hyperglycemia Externalized IV Pumps for COVID-19 positive patients Special Equipment Knowledge NxStage CRRT Alaris IV Pump GE Cardiac Monitor GE Ventilator Boom Lift in each patient room Modern Healthcare Solutions Job ID 37794617.
