Nurse Practitioner

This full-time position offers a daytime schedule with no weekends or holidays. The Nurse Practitioner will assist the Urology surgeon in diagnosing and treating urologic conditions. Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations and assessments. Develop and implement treatment and care plans. Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests. Assist in urologic surgeries and office-based procedures. Provide patient and family education regarding diagnoses, procedures, and treatment plans. Manage post-operative and follow-up care. Coordinate care with physicians, nurses, and clinical staff. Adhere to universal precautions and bloodborne pathogen standards. Work in an environment with potential exposure to blood, body fluids, and communicable diseases. Perform duties requiring manual dexterity, patient handling, and clinical documentation. Support departmental operations alongside clinical and clerical staff. Practice under a supervising physician in a physician office setting. The work environment may involve exposure to moving mechanical parts and fumes or airborne particles. Essential physical demands include sitting for a majority of the workday, with some standing and walking. Lifting requirements include up to 10 lbs frequently and up to 25 lbs occasionally. Visual requirements include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
