Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Neuro Stepdown

Location: Cleveland, Ohio

Contract Duration: 13 Weeks (Extension Possible)

Shift: Night Shift | 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
Position Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) - Neuro Stepdown to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced neuro stepdown environment. The ideal candidate will have strong neuro and progressive care experience, excellent clinical judgment, and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to neuro stepdown patients
• Perform patient assessments and monitor neurological status
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Interpret cardiac rhythms and respond to changes in patient condition
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to coordinate care
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
• Provide patient and family education regarding treatment plans and recovery
• Adhere to hospital safety, infection control, and quality standards

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 18 months of Neuro Stepdown experience
• Progressive Care Unit (PCU) experience preferred
• Current Ohio RN License or Compact State RN License
• BLS Certification (AHA)
• ACLS Certification
• NIHSS Certification
• Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills
• Ability to successfully complete rhythm recognition and medication assessments during orientation

Schedule Requirements

• Night Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
• Every other holiday required
