Accounting and Customer Service Specialist

Murphy's Services & Barrett Plumbing, Heating is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented professional to join our growing team as an Accounting and Customer Service Specialist . This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with customers and has a strong administrative and accounting background. Prior ServiceTitan experience is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

Data Entry & Administrative Support

·         Accurately enter and maintain customer, job, and invoice information in ServiceTitan

·         Review work orders for accuracy and completeness

·         Maintain organized digital and physical records

·         Assist office staff with various administrative tasks

Accounts Payable Invoices Processing

·         Process supplier invoices in ServiceTitan (via manual data entry or automated upload)

·         Verify supplier invoices for accuracy and match them to POs and jobs in ServiceTitan

·         Identify, research and correct discrepancies in matching invoices to POs

Accounts Receivable & Payment Processing

·         Process customer payments and post transactions accurately

·         Monitor and assist with Accounts Receivable collections

·         Contact customers regarding past-due balances in a professional manner

·         Prepare and process daily check deposits

·         Reconcile payments and assist with reporting as needed

Customer Service

·         Answer incoming calls and provide exceptional customer service

·         Schedule appointments and assist with dispatch coordination

·         Respond to customer inquiries regarding services, invoices, and payments

·         Help create a positive customer experience from start to finish

Qualifications

·         Customer Service experience preferably in a field-service/home services environment

·         Previous data entry, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, collections and payment processing experience

·         Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office

·         Excellent communication and customer service skills

·         High attention to detail and accuracy, ability to identify and resolve discrepancies

·         Prior experience working with with ServiceTitan and Sage Intacct is preferred but not required

·         Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment

·         Professional, dependable, and team-oriented attitude
