Registered Nurse in Progressive Care Unit (PCU)As a Registered Nurse in our Progressive Care Unit (PCU), you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to patients who require intermediate-level monitoring and treatment. This position offers an opportunity to advance your nursing career while making a meaningful impact on patient lives.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide direct patient care, including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and implementing prescribed treatment plans in accordance with physician orders.Conduct thorough assessments of patients' conditions and continuously monitor their progress, promptly identifying any changes or deterioration.Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including nursing assessments, care plans, and progress notes, ensuring compliance with legal and hospital regulations.Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to develop and adjust patient care plans, making evidence-based decisions to optimize patient outcomes.Educate patients and their families on the plan of care, medications, and any necessary lifestyle modifications.
