We are looking for a dedicated Nuclear Medicine Technologist like you to be a part of our team.Job Summary and QualificationsThe days and shift for this position is: Monday, 7a-5p and Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday: 9a- 5pProvides care for patients requiring Nuclear Medicine procedures. Performs all duties directly involved with proceduresutilizingradioactive isotopes for diagnostic and some therapeutic purposesin accordance withALARA standards. Operates equipmentutilizedto measure radiation, produce images, quantify physiologic responses, and relay images and measurements to the physician for interpretation. Employs practices and techniques to ensure the safe handling of radioactive materials, especially when dosing patients with radiopharmaceuticals (both orally and intravenously) as prescribed and authorized by the responsible licensed physician.What qualifications will you need?Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within30 daysof employment start date Graduation from an accredited Nuclear Medicine programisrequiredNuclear Med certification with American Registry of Radiologic TechnologistsARRT (NM)orCertification with theNuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB)isrequiredState of Florida HRS Licensure as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist1 year of related experienceHCA Florida Lake Monroe Hospital is a 221-bed acute care hospital.
