Dental assistant

Assist the dentist in procedures including general dentistry, endodontics, and prosthodontics.
Prepare, sterilize, and organize instruments; maintain a clean and safe treatment area.
Capture and develop digital X-rays adhering to safety protocols.
Accurately document patient medical histories and vital signs in CareStack EMR.
Provide chairside support using four-handed dentistry techniques.
Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
Ensure compliance with HIPAA and infection control standards.
Manage patient records, including procedural coding and documentation.
Operate 3D scanners and advanced digital dental technology as needed.
Support pediatric dentistry by creating a welcoming environment for children.

full-time $17 - $24 per hour

Wednesday: 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Friday: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Saturday: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Sunday: Closed

Previous experience in a dental office is preferred; chairside assisting and pediatric dentistry experience required.
Proficiency with CareStack EMR is highly desirable.
Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and aseptic techniques.
Excellent organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
Fluency in both Spanish and English.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Commitment to patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.

• X-ray / Radiography Certification

Experience working in a fully digital dental practice.
Familiarity with advanced dental imaging and scanning technologies.
