Radiation Therapist - Full Time

Role Staff Radiation Therapist in the Radiation Oncology Department, responsible for delivering ionizing radiation treatments, operating radiation equipment safely, and performing precise technical procedures. Responsibilities: Ensures quality control, administers consistent therapy, assesses patients, documents in EMR, educates patients and families, follows safety protocols, and completes patient set-ups accurately. Simulates new patients, schedules treatments, and manages patient mobility and safety precautions. Participates in warm-up procedures, reports discrepancies, and assists colleagues as needed. Engages in on-call rotations, acts as a clinical instructor for students, and performs additional tasks as assigned. Qualifications & Skills Minimum education: Associate's degree or equivalent from an accredited program. Certifications: ARRT-T (Radiation Therapy), BLS or equivalent, required upon hire. Experience: At least 2 years in Radiation Therapy preferred. Skills: Ability to treat and simulate patients accurately, demonstrate radiation safety, and collaborate effectively.
