Medical/Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN)

About the Position

We are currently seeking an experienced Medical/Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in telemetry nursing and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.

Position Details

• Shift: 3x12s, Days (7:00 AM - 7:30 PM)
• Nurse-to-Patient Ratios: 1:5-6
• Weekend Requirements: Every other weekend
• Float Requirements: Must be willing to float within scope to meet facility needs and float between similar units

Qualifications

• Years of Experience Required: Minimum of 2 years
• First-Timers: Accepted
• Licensure: South Carolina license or Compact license required prior to start
• Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS required; NIH Stroke Scale certification preferred
• Trauma Level Experience: Not applicable

Miscellaneous

• Local Radius: 60 miles
• Locals Accepted: Yes, on a case-by-case basis at a reduced rate
• Guaranteed Hours: Facility may call off 1 shift every 2 weeks
• Special Requirements: Telemetry competency required; prior charge experience and community hospital experience preferred
• Block Schedule: Accommodations may be requested but not guaranteed
