Continuum Therapy Partners is actively hiring a Licensed Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for a full-time opportunity in Overland Park, Kansas . Join a collaborative rehabilitation team providing occupational therapy services to adult and geriatric patients in a skilled nursing and post-acute care setting.

What You’ll Do

As a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) , you’ll work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to help residents regain independence and improve their ability to perform everyday activities.

Responsibilities include:

• Deliver skilled occupational therapy treatments based on individualized care plans.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), mobility, upper extremity function, and functional independence.
• Monitor patient performance and communicate progress to the Occupational Therapist.
• Complete accurate and timely electronic documentation.
• Partner with nursing staff, physicians, rehabilitation professionals, and caregivers to coordinate quality patient care.
• Educate patients and families on therapeutic techniques, adaptive equipment, and home safety recommendations.
• Maintain compliance with Medicare, state, federal, and company guidelines.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Current Kansas Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license.
• Experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, inpatient rehabilitation, or post-acute care is helpful but not required.
• New graduate COTAs are welcome to apply.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
• Passion for providing compassionate, patient-centered rehabilitation.
