Physical Therapist – Join Our Team and Make a Difference! Per diem, part-time, or full-time (with benefits) Monday through Friday between hours of 8:30am and 3:30 pm. Arc Broward is looking for a Physical Therapist for our 3‑5 year old students who have developmental disabilities and other health impairments. Essential Job Functions/Duties assessment, therapeutic treatment planning and service delivery using best practice treatment modalities for children to facilitate age-appropriate independence in gross motor coordination, balance, strengthening activities, and motor planning activities developing and implementing individualized treatment plans and monitoring the progress of each child through analysis of data and making necessary modifications evaluating physical and social environmental conditions for optimal function, learning, independence, health, and stability demonstrating and modeling effective and therapeutic intervention strategies providing coaching and consultation to staff for continuity and generalization across settings collaborating with all members of the team assessing, recommending, and ensuring that children are provided with proper adaptive equipment Attributes Desired You demonstrate an intense enthusiasm to assist people with disabilities, and support the agency’s mission and culture by helping others, and showing an interest towards our great cause.
