Job Title: Registered Nurse - Oncology

Job Description:

The Registered Nurse will provide care in an outpatient oncology clinic, offering treatments such as chemotherapy infusion, and supporting hematology and bone marrow transplant (pre- and post-transplant) patients. The role requires ambulatory Epic experience, with preferred experience in ambulatory oncology.

Responsibilities:

• Rooming patients, vital signs, review of systems, medication reconciliation, and weight documentation
• Obtaining orders and processing patients for infusions
• Executing chart checks and setting up for procedures
• Reviewing referrals for oncology patients

Requirements:

• Minimum 1.5 years of nursing experience, with at least 1 year in oncology
• BLS and ONS certification required; OCN preferred
• Experience using Epic Ambulatory and providing first assist and chaperoning during exams and procedures
• Completion of a nursing education program approved by the nursing board and current South Dakota RN license
