Schedule: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire (6 months)
Pay Rate: $17/hour
Position Overview
The Warehouse Associate supports daily warehouse operations by managing the flow of incoming and outgoing materials. This role ensures orders are accurately received, processed, and distributed in a timely manner to maintain operational efficiency. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Receive and process incoming and outgoing orders
Verify shipment contents against tickets and receipts
Sort packages according to appropriate distribution channels
Pull and prepare orders for shipment
Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work environment
Support accurate inventory handling and material movement within the warehouse

Qualifications
Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the shift
Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 pounds
Basic understanding of warehouse operations and safety practices
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team environment
Reliable attendance and punctuality

Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution center, or logistics environment
Familiarity with order picking, packing, and shipping processes
Experience using warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, scanners)
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting with minimal supervision
Basic inventory or stock management experience
