The Day-of Event Coordinator & Hospitality Lead serves as the on-site representative of NORR Kitchen, ensuring every event is executed with professionalism, warmth, attention to detail, and exceptional hospitality.

This position is responsible for supporting event execution, guest experience, service flow, team coordination, and overall event readiness. The Day-of Event Coordinator works closely with chefs, service staff, clients, and vendors to ensure each event reflects the elevated standards that define the NORR brand.

This role is ideal for an individual who thrives in hospitality environments, enjoys working directly with guests, possesses strong organizational skills, and can maintain composure while managing multiple priorities during live events.

Core Responsibilities

Event Coordination & Execution

• Arrive prepared and event-ready prior to scheduled service.
• Serve as NORR's primary on-site hospitality representative during assigned events.
• Assist with event setup, service preparation, and breakdown.
• Coordinate timing between culinary and service teams.
• Support overall event flow to ensure a seamless guest experience.
• Assist with event logistics and operational readiness.
• Maintain communication with company leadership throughout service as needed.
• Ensure event standards are consistently executed.

Guest Experience & Hospitality

• Welcome guests with professionalism and warmth.
• Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly.
• Maintain a calm, polished, and hospitality-focused presence.
• Assist with beverage service, food service, and guest support.
• Resolve minor guest concerns discreetly and professionally.
• Ensure clients feel cared for throughout the event experience.
• Represent the NORR brand with excellence at all times.

Service Team Support

• Assist chefs and service staff throughout event execution.
• Help coordinate service timing and table maintenance.
• Support food presentation and service standards.
• Ensure service areas remain organized and guest-ready.
• Assist with event breakdown and post-event responsibilities.
• Communicate effectively with all event personnel.

Event Preparation & Logistics

• Assist with loading, unloading, and organization of event materials.
• Verify event supplies and service items are present and prepared.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of event workspaces.
• Assist with inventory management and event kits as assigned.
• Support operational systems and event preparation processes.

Qualifications

• Hospitality, restaurant, catering, event, or customer service experience.

• Ability to lift, carry, and assist with event setup requirements.
• Reliable transportation.
• Availability for evenings, weekends, and holiday events.
• Ability to travel throughout Southern California.
