Pay From: $20.00 per hour

MUST:
Experienced Medical Assistant
Must have 1 plus years of experience as a Medical Assistant
Must have current hands-on clinical experience
Must have experience working on EMR: knowledge of ECW is preferred
Must have experience with manual blood pressure
Must have experience with giving vaccines
Must have experience with prior authorizations
Must be comfortable working on all ages
Certified, Registered, or holding a Medical Assistant Diploma is preferred
Current BLS is preferred

DUTIES:
Medical Assistant will be responsible for but not limited to the following:
Checking patients in and confirming their information
Recording medical histories
Reviewing medication and allergy information
Measuring and documenting vital signs
Preparing patients for examinations
Updating electronic health records
Preparing and disinfecting examination rooms
Assisting providers with approved procedures
Supporting specimen collection when authorized
Reinforcing provider-approved patient instructions
Scheduling follow-up appointments
Supporting front- and back-office workflows
Following infection-prevention and patient-privacy procedures
