RECEPTIONIST

Position
Acts as the first point of contact for internal and external customers. Greeting and directing incoming calls as well as in-person visitors.


Responsibilities

• Maintains telephone switchboard (local calls, long distance, and 800's numbers) records messages, and identifies priorities.
• Monitors statements from suppliers (rates and services) for phone services.
• Receives and distributes incoming faxes for several departments.
• Liaison between the phone company and internal phone users.
• Assists multiple departments with administrative tasks.
• Other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
• Experience using and maintaining a phone system.
• Ability to read, write, and speak clearly in correspondence in-person, via phone, and written communication.
• Ability to use basic math skills
