QC Inspector

Duration: 1-year

Rate: Starts at $24/hr

Shift: 7am - 4:30pm and/or 8am - 5:30pm

Location: Battleground Business Park, Deer Park, 77536



Responsibilities:

• Inspecting warehouse picking accuracy, by confirming part number and quantities
• Documenting inspection results and maintain accurate records
• Reporting daily internal & external defects to the team and help identify root causes.
• Working with the QC final inspection areas to ensure timely delivery of scheduled shipments.
• Inspecting packaging methods needed per customer & internal requirements to mitigate customer receipt of damaged parts/valves.
• Collaborating with Warehouse and Quality teams to address escaping defects related to picking and packing.
• Assisting Warehouse and Quality teams to drive customer satisfaction.
• Inspecting and gathering product documentation, final document packets, material heat reports/certified material test reports (CMTRs) as required.
• Supporting lean activities/initiatives for Quality as required.
• Ensuring adherence to safety protocols during inspections to promote a secure workplace for all personnel
• Working closely with documentation team to provide inspection reports and CMTRs for products to satisfy the customer requirements as required
  
  

Requirements/Qualifications

• Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1 years related experience.
• SAP and excel experience not mandatory but would be an asset
• Warehouse industry experience would be a plus
• Be results driven with a keen eye for detail good communication skills
• Some knowledge in dimensional testing and manufacturing

Expectations
Long standing hours, overtime as/when needed and constant bending and lifting may be required
