Packaging Engineer

Our Opportunity North American Lighting (NAL) is looking for a Packaging Engineer to join our Manufacturing Facility based in Muscle Shoals, AL . The ideal candidate will design and develop packaging for NAL products shipped to customers and support the development and implementation of NAL in-house packaging between manufacturing operations. NAL will provide relocation assistance to anyone outside of the area. Your Priorities Develop vendors and obtain pricing for packaging designs in conjunction with NAL purchasing Approve tooling design and costing for packaging designs Develop NAL specifications for the testing of packaging in conjunction with customer requirements and methods of shipment requirements to ensure integrity of packaging Coordinate and conduct testing of packaging designs in conjunction with NAL quality assurance Develop packaging standard parts and conduct packaging design effort toward target of standard part usage whenever possible The salary range for this position is $63,700 - $82,000 per year. Final compensation will be determined by location, skills, experience, qualifications, and the career level at which the position is filled.
