Customer Service Representative

The Customer Service Representative serves as the primary point of contact for customers, providing exceptional service by accurately processing orders, addressing inquiries, and ensuring a positive customer experience. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to efficiently manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Receive and process customer orders via telephone and other communication channels.
• Accurately enter order information into company systems and databases.
• Provide professional and courteous customer service while addressing customer questions and concerns.
• Maintain accurate customer records and order documentation.
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
• Resolve customer issues promptly and escalate concerns when appropriate.
• Perform data entry and administrative tasks with a high degree of accuracy.
• Manage multiple priorities while maintaining excellent service standards.

Schedule

• Monday through Friday: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Rotating Saturdays: 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM
• Schedule may require flexibility to support business needs and customer demands.

Required Skills and Competencies

• Excellent verbal and telephone communication skills.
• Strong customer service orientation and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Proficiency with data entry, computer applications, and order management systems.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Previous customer service experience preferred.
• Data entry and computer proficiency required.
• Foodservice industry experience and knowledge of food products strongly preferred.
• Ability to communicate professionally with customers, vendors, and internal team members.

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods of sitting and working on a computer.
• Frequent use of a telephone and computer keyboard.
• Ability to remain focused and productive in a busy office environment.
