Business Development Representative

A growing behavioral health organization is hiring Business Development Representatives to support expansion across Southern California. Multiple territories are open, including Orange County, Los Angeles (West Side and Valley), San Gabriel Valley, and surrounding areas. Flexibility exists for high-performing candidates with strong existing relationships. This is a field-based role focused on building referral relationships and driving admissions across mental health residential and outpatient programs. The team operates with a high level of autonomy and is performance-driven. Strong performers have significant earning potential and long-term growth opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain referral relationships with hospitals, treatment providers, clinicians, and community organizations
• Prospect and develop new referral sources within assigned territory
• Manage a consistent schedule of meetings, site visits, and outreach
• Collaborate with admissions and clinical teams to support appropriate placement
• Track activity and manage pipeline using CRM tools
• Represent programs in the field with a professional and ethical approach

Requirements:

• Business development or sales experience in behavioral health or healthcare preferred
• Understanding of mental health levels of care and referral dynamics
• Ability to work independently in a field-based role
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills
• Familiarity with Southern California markets is required

This environment is best suited for individuals who are motivated, consistent, and comfortable being held to performance expectations. The role offers flexibility and autonomy, but requires regular field activity and accountability.

Compensation:

Base salary typically ranges from $90,000 to $120,000 depending on experience. Higher base available for top candidates. Bonus potential up to $50,000 annually.

Schedule:

Full-time, 40 to 50 hours per week. Field-based with local travel.

Behavioral health, mental health residential and outpatient programs.
