Senior Application Engineer

Industry: Semiconductor, Automated Test Equipment (ATE) Overview Seeking a Senior Application Engineer with deep experience in semiconductor ATE and digital device testing. This role supports advanced test solutions across pre‑sales and post‑sales, partnering with customers and internal engineering teams to deliver scalable, production‑ready systems. Key Responsibilities Develop and optimize test programs for digital semiconductors using V93000 / 93K Support pre‑sales activities: technical presentations, benchmarking, requirements analysis Debug and resolve complex issues in SmarTest and ATE test environments Build automation tools and scripts (Python, Perl) to improve test efficiency and quality Lead customer training on ATE hardware, software, and workflows Translate customer requirements into technical solutions with R&D and cross‑functional teams Support system deployment, validation, and production ramp at customer sites Drive issue resolution across software, hardware, and test program layers Required Qualifications Experience with semiconductor ATE systems and test program development Strong Java programming for test development Hands‑on experience with V93000 / 93K platforms Proven debugging and problem‑solving in test environments Customer‑facing or field applications experience Strong communication and cross‑functional collaboration skills Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field Preferred Qualifications 5+ years of ATE test development experience Knowledge of VLSI and semiconductor manufacturing Experience with Python, Perl, or similar scripting languages C/C++ programming experience Experience using AI tools to improve engineering workflows #J-18808-Ljbffr recruitAbility
