Work Environment\n

This role is primarily remote, allowing for flexibility in your work schedule while maintaining effective communication with clients and colleagues. Our outpatient office operates Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with the possibility of occasional virtual team meetings and training sessions to enhance professional development. The work setting is collaborative and supportive, designed to promote the well-being of both staff and clients.

Key Responsibilities\n

  • Conduct thorough assessments of clients to evaluate the intensity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms.

  • Design and implement individualized treatment plans that align with each client's needs, goals, and preferences, ensuring a personalized approach to care.

  • Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to facilitate effective treatment experiences.

  • Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, available treatment options, and self-care practices to enhance understanding and coping strategies.

  • Monitor and document client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to respond to evolving needs.

  • Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure an integrated care approach for each client, addressing their comprehensive mental health needs.

  • Stay current on the latest research and best practices regarding mood disorders to improve treatment methods and outcomes.

  • Maintain accurate and confidential client documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position focuses on working with individuals experiencing mood disorders such as depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. Therapists will engage with a diverse clientele, including vulnerable populations like homeless individuals, refugees, and survivors of domestic abuse. By addressing their unique challenges and experiences, you will play a pivotal role in supporting positive mental health outcomes.
