About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum 2 Years License: Active RN License Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS Description: This position is in the Operating Room department. The unit comprises six Operating Room suites and two Endoscopy suites. Patient ratios are maintained at 1:1. An OR Coordinator is available at the Main OR desk. The documentation system utilized is Meditech Expanse. Scheduling requirements include Monday through Friday with 8-hour shifts. Weekend call and late days may be required. The department performs a variety of procedures including OB/GYN, Orthopedics, Urology, General, Robotics, Neuro-Spine, Endoscopies, and Ophthalmology. All cesarean sections are performed in this unit. Scrubs will be provided by the facility. The team is highly engaged and motivated, with an emphasis on patient safety.
