Industrial Outside Sales Representative

Job Category Imperial, Sales Employee Type Office Position Summary The Outside Sales Representative is responsible for developing new industrial business opportunities, maintaining existing customer relationships, and increasing sales revenue within the assigned territory and/or accounts. This role requires regular travel to customer locations, conducting product presentations, preparing quotations, negotiating sales agreements, and serving as a trusted business partner to customers. Responsibilities Develop and maintain a territory sales plan to achieve established sales goals. Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, referrals. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers. Prepare quotes, proposals, and sales agreements. Maintain accurate records within HubSpot CRM. Collaborate with internal departments to meet customer requirements. Attend trade shows, conferences, and customer events as assigned. Provide sales forecasts and activity reports. Resolve customer issues in a professional manner. Excellent sales and negotiation skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Maintains detailed reports on Sales activities including calls, orders, sales, lost business, and any customer or vendor relationship concerns within HubSpot CRM. Provides periodic territory sales forecasts. Qualifications Education and Experience Associate or bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field preferred. Minimum of 3 years of outside sales experience preferred. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. Proficient in Microsoft 365 Ability to develop and maintain customer relationships. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Ability to effectively plan customer visits and make the most during windshield travel time. Travel Requirements Frequent overnight travel required. Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record required. Performance Expectations Meet or exceed annual sales goals.
