Director, Obesity Intelligence & Analytics - Field Analytics

Director role leading field analytics strategy for Amgen's obesity business. Responsible for developing subnational analytics, performance insights, and decision-support tools that translate national strategy into actionable regional and territory-level intelligence to enable field execution and commercial growth.

Responsibilities

• Lead field analytics strategy, establish analytical capabilities, operating model, and roadmap for obesity business
• Develop and scale subnational analytics translating national performance into regional, territory, and local-market insights
• Provide field and commercial leadership with performance drivers, opportunities, risks, and recommendations
• Lead analytics for field rollout and launch readiness, including KPIs, dashboards, benchmarks, and performance frameworks
• Partner with cross-functional teams including sales leadership, marketing, and field excellence on analytical priorities and implementation

Requirements

• Experience leading analytics teams and building analytical capabilities
• Demonstrated expertise in subnational, regional, or territory-level analytics
• Strong background in commercial analytics, sales analytics, or field performance analytics
• Proficiency translating complex data into actionable business insights and recommendations
• Experience integrating multiple internal and external data sources for comprehensive market views
• Track record partnering cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and operations leadership
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical or life sciences commercial operations preferred
