Events Associate

The Virginia Bar Association is seeking a highly organized, customer service-oriented professional to join our team as our Events Associate. This role supports the planning and execution of a wide range of in-person and virtual events.

This role offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in event planning, email marketing, project coordination and association operations, with the potential to take on increasing responsibility in event execution over time.

Key responsibilities include:

• handling event marketing emails, from beginning to end
• managing the events email inbox
• providing on-site support at events throughout the year
• assisting members with registration and event-related inquiries
• maintaining event records and webpages

This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their career or transitioning into a new field who is interested in building skills in event planning, project coordination and member engagement.
