Training Phase (Year 1-2) Participate in a comprehensive training program covering all aspects of clinical informatics, including data analysis, system implementation, user training, and policy development. Obtain your Certificate in Clinical Informatics at Sacred Heart University through remote learning, designed by experts in healthcare informatics, ensuring a deep and practical understanding of both theoretical and applied informatics. Collaborate with cohort members on projects and case studies that reflect real-world challenges, fostering a team-oriented approach to problem-solving. Application Phase (Post-Training) Implement and optimize clinical information systems across Hartford Healthcare facilities. Analyze healthcare data to improve patient outcomes and operational efficiencies. Serve as a liaison between clinical staff and IT departments to enhance system usability and effectiveness. Educate and train healthcare providers on new technologies and informatics practices. Qualifications Requirements : Educational Requirements: Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant: graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program, Master’s/Doctoral degree preferred. Active Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant CT license, current certification, and Federal DEA license required. 3+ years of experience as an Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner APRN, proficiency with EPIC EMR, demonstrating ability to positively interact with medical/nursing and multidisciplinary teams, experience in leading multidisciplinary teams and quality improvement projects, familiarity and interest in using data analytics and reporting tools (Tableau) to improve patient care.
