We have an immediate opening for a Quality Control / Quality Assurance Inspector at our Reno, NV office. Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive individual to join our manufacturing team. In this vital role, you will ensure that all products meet strict quality standards by performing precise inspections and measurements throughout the production process. Your expertise will help maintain compliance with industry regulations, uphold safety protocols, and guarantee customer satisfaction. Duties Conduct dimensional and visual inspections. Interpret mechanical blueprints, manufacturing documents, and technical drawings to ensure accurate quality assessments. Perform quality audits in accordance with ISO 9001. Identify defects or deviations from quality standards in production and prior to packing/shipping. Collect data related to product measurements, defect rates, and process performance. Collaborate with manufacturing teams to address non-conformances, implement corrective actions, and improve overall quality systems. Maintain detailed records of inspections, measurement results, and audit reports. Manage kits/accessories for product Tracking KPI’s (key process indicator) – projects, panel type, function, on and on Other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications Proven experience in quality control or quality assurance within a manufacturing environment Strong knowledge of ISO standards (ISO 9001) Experience working with Microsoft Office Suite applications (Excel, Word, etc.) Familiarity with interpreting engineered drawings and production documentation. Ability to perform quality audits and utilize data collection methods for analysis and reporting purposes. Mechanical aptitude with understanding of manufacturing processes and basic math skills for accurate measurements. Strong attention to detail coupled with excellent analysis skills necessary for identifying defects and ensuring product compliance. English Speaking Understanding Corrective Action Process & Fault Analysis (CAPA / 8D / Failure Analysis) Prefferred Qualifications Experience with composite materials Ability to speak Spanish Desire to learn and passion for growth within position and company Critical thinking skills Positive attitude Personal accountability and ownership of processes and procedures Time management skills and ability to work independently Professional Individual, but manufacturing floor abilities Company Information Compensation for this position is commensurate with industry standards and personal experience.
