Retail Banker - Sheppard BX/Wichita Falls

Responsibilities Prospect customers to open checking and savings accounts Recognize opportunities to upsell products and services Follow company communication scripts to disclose account information Count currency, coins, and checks received by hand or using a currency‑counting machine Examine checks for endorsements and verify details such as dates, bank names, identification of the payee, and legality of the documents Enter customers’ transactions into computers to record transactions and issue computer‑generated receipts Resolve problems or discrepancies concerning customers’ accounts Meet acceptable standards for attendance and punctuality Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Computer literate Open to taking on additional tasks during employment Portray a positive company image Ability to sit and stand for long periods, hand dexterity, bend, squat, and lift up to 25 pounds Ability to work a rotating schedule, Monday through Saturday 8:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. and Sundays 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Bilingual applicants with written and spoken translation skills encouraged Individual must be able to pass a high‑level military background check to obtain a pass to the Air Force Base Desired Skills and Attributes Excellent verbal communication skills Open to learning and attending to new tasks and concepts Cooperative with co‑workers and supervisors Customer service experience Typing skills Benefits Paid vacation Employee assistance program Incentive compensation Paid personal leave Medical and dental insurance 401(k) Paid holidays Supplemental insurance Paid death benefit #J-18808-Ljbffr FSNB
