The City of Alameda is currently looking to fill one (1) full-time Parks Maintenance Supervisor position in the Recreation and Parks Department.

Under direction, the Park Maintenance Supervisor supervises the performance of park maintenance staff; plans and coordinates resources required for park maintenance; ensures that park maintenance staff receive proper safety training and adhere to established safe work practices; conducts park needs assessment; administers contracts; inspects work; and performs related work as assigned. The incumbent will plan, organize, coordinate, and oversee park maintenance projects from inception through completion. The Park Maintenance Supervisor will develop project scopes, schedules, resource allocations, and cost estimates; coordinate staff, contractors, equipment, and materials to ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with applicable regulations and City standards. In addition to, they will monitor project progress, inspect completed work for quality and contract compliance, resolve project issues, and maintain accurate records and reports.
