Accounts Payable Supervisor

Centerline is looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Supervisor to lead our accounts payable team and ensure the accurate, timely, and compliant processing of vendor payments across the organization. In this role, you will manage a team of AP professionals, strengthen internal controls, and partner closely with Finance, Operations, and vendors to keep our payables running smoothly as the company continues to grow.What You Will DoManaging day-to-day operations of the accounts payable team, including supervise, train, and mentor AP Staff, assign daily workloads and handle performance reviews.Oversee high-volume invoice processing, PO matching, coding accuracy, and payment approvals.Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policy, and applicable regulations, including 1099 reportingAct as an escalation point for complex vendor discrepancies, processing errors, and payment rejections.Monitor and improve AP metrics such as days payable outstanding (DPO), invoice cycle time, and on-time payment rateManage month-end close activities related to AP, including accruals and account reconciliationsIdentify workflow bottlenecks and implement automated procurement to pay (P2P) solutions.Assist with internal and external audits, manage SOX compliance controls, and support month-end close activities like accruals.This position will report directly into the Accounts Payable Manager.What You Will Need5+ years of accounts payable experience, including 2+ years in a supervisory or management roleStrong knowledge of AP processes, GAAP, and internal controlsExperience with ERP or accounting systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAGE, SAP, Oracle, RAMP, or similar)Proficiency in Excel; experience with AP automation tools is a plusExcellent leadership, organizational, and communication skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving ability with high attention to detailAbility to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, growing environmentThis position will require in office presence 3 days a week.
