Physical Therapy Specialist / Rehabilitation Expert Location: Gates Mills, Ohio Schedule: Full-Time | Flexible Shifts

Are you a compassionate and skilled Physical Therapist dedicated to helping patients regain their strength, mobility, and independence? We're looking for a dedicated PT to join our hospital-based rehabilitation team in Gates Mills, Ohio, where your expertise will make a significant impact on patients recovering from surgery, injury, or illness, providing them with the care and support they need to regain their quality of life.

What You'll Do

• Conduct Patient Assessments Evaluate patients' physical capabilities, review medical histories, and develop individualized treatment plans to address a wide range of rehabilitation needs.
• Provide Therapeutic Interventions Implement targeted therapy techniques such as strengthening exercises, manual therapy, functional mobility training, and equipment-based interventions to enhance physical function and promote recovery.
• Monitor Patient Progress Track patient outcomes, evaluate progress towards rehabilitation goals, and adjust treatment plans accordingly to ensure optimal recovery.
• Collaborate with Healthcare Teams Work closely with physicians, nurses, case managers, and other rehabilitation specialists to provide comprehensive, multidisciplinary care in a hospital setting.
• Guide and Educate Patients and Caregivers Educate patients and caregivers on at-home exercise programs, injury prevention strategies, and lifestyle modifications to maintain rehabilitation progress and reduce the risk of future injuries.
• Promote Wellness and Mobility Advocate for physical activity, early mobilization, and preventative care as essential components of recovery and long-term health.

Qualifications

• Education: Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent New graduates encouraged to apply
• Licensure & Certification: Active Physical Therapist (PT) license in Ohio Specialty certifications (e.g., orthopedics, geriatrics, neuro) are a plus
• Skills & Experience: Previous experience in a hospital or rehabilitation setting preferred Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to manage multiple patients and adapt to a fast-paced environment
