CMDB & Discovery SME

Job Description A client of Insight Global is seeking a ServiceNow CMDB & Discovery SME to join their team. This individual will work hands-on in ServiceNow to configure, optimize, and troubleshoot CMDB and Discovery processes in an existing environment. They will investigate issues related to credentials, discovery patterns, and integrations, while partnering with developers and infrastructure teams to improve data accuracy and service mapping across cloud and on‑prem systems. To learn more about how we collect, keep, and process your private information, please review Insight Global's Workforce Privacy Policy: Skills and Requirements 6+ years of ServiceNow experience with a strong focus on CMDB & Discovery, including hands‑on configuration and implementation from scratch Proven experience troubleshooting Discovery issues, including discovery patterns, credentials, probes, and sensors in existing environments Strong understanding of CMDB lifecycle, CSDM, and data governance, ensuring accuracy and completeness of CI data Experience configuring and managing ServiceNow Discovery, Service Mapping, and MID Servers Solid understanding of infrastructure and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, AD, integrations like Tanium) ServiceNow certifications (CSA, CIS–Discovery, CIS–Service Mapping) Experience with cloud discovery and integrations across AWS, Azure, or GCP Exposure to ITOM modules and Event Management Experience working in heavily integrated environments (e.g., Tanium, Active Directory, other enterprise tools) Background supporting CMDB governance, audits, and KPI/dashboard reporting #J-18808-Ljbffr Insight Global
