Therapist - Respiratory Therapist

Job Summary:

Responsibilities:

• 
  Perform pulmonary function tests and analyze results to assist clinical decision-making.
  
  
• 
  Initiate and educate patients on the use of CPAP devices and inhalers.
  
  
• 
  Support requests for durable medical equipment such as oxygen concentrators and nebulizers.
  
  
• 
  Set up and demonstrate the proper use of respiratory and DME equipment to patients.
  
  
• 
  Work closely with physicians to coordinate patient care and ensure compliance with protocols.
  
  
• 
  Maintain accurate documentation of patient procedures and equipment usage.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold an active RRT or CRT credential from the NRBC.
  
  
• 
  Possess a valid New Jersey Respiratory Therapist license (RCP).
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate at least 1 year of hospital or physician office experience.
  
  
• 
  Be computer literate and proficient with healthcare documentation systems.
  
  
• 
  Hold current BLS and ACLS certifications.
  
  
• 
  Graduate of a CoARC-accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
