Medical AssistantUNM Medical Group, Inc. is hiring for a Medical Assistant to join our Street Medicine team. This opportunity is a full-time day shift opening located in Albuquerque, New Mexico.We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our Mobile Medical team — a program that brings healthcare directly to individuals experiencing homelessness and living in unsheltered environments. This is a unique opportunity for an MA who is passionate about health equity, social justice, and meeting people where they are.Required: Possession of a valid unrestricted NM driver's license.Salary is determined based on years of total relevant experience. Salary is based on 1.0 FTE (full time equivalent) or 40 hours per week. Less than 40 hours/week will be prorated and adjusted to the appropriate FTE.Summary:In this role, you won't be confined to a clinic or office. Instead, you'll support a mobile care team in delivering essential medical services in the field — on sidewalks, in encampments, and in other non-traditional settings.
