Detailed JD: We are seeking a highly skilled SData Analytics Software Developer with strong expertise in Splunk, Python, and data analytics methodologies. Experience working in fraud analytics, risk detection, or security analytics environments is highly desirable. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing analytical solutions, creating dashboards, building automation frameworks, and deriving insights to support business and fraud risk objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Data Analytics Insights
  • Analyze large and complex datasets to identify trends, anomalies, and actionable insights.
  • Develop automated reporting frameworks and analytical models using Python and related libraries.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to translate business problems into analytical solutions.
  • Splunk Engineering Monitoring
  • Build, configure, and optimize Splunk dashboards, alerts, and queries for monitoring and analytics.
  • Manage data onboarding, parsing, indexing, and performance tuning within Splunk.
  • Develop correlation rules to identify suspicious patterns or fraud-related activities.
  • Fraud/Risk Analytics (Preferred)
  • Build analytics models for detecting anomalous or high risk behavior.
  • Collaborate with fraud operations teams to refine signals, thresholds, and detection logic.
  • Perform root cause analysis on fraud incidents and propose automation opportunities.
  • Automation Scripting
  • Develop Python based automation scripts for data processing, ETL pipelines, and alerting workflows.
  • Enhance data quality, accuracy, and reliability through automated validation and monitoring tools.
  • Collaboration Reporting
  • Present analytical findings to stakeholders in a clear and compelling manner.
  • Work closely with engineering, data science, fraud, and operations teams to drive continuous improvements.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 6+ years of hands on experience in data analytics or a similar role.
  • Strong expertise in: Splunk (Search Processing Language, dashboards, alerts, data models) Python (Pandas, NumPy, automation, scripting) SQL and data visualization tools Experience working with large-scale datasets and distributed data environments. Strong problem solving abilities and analytical mindset.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in fraud analytics, security analytics, risk monitoring, or AML domains.
  • Knowledge of machine learning basics (classification, anomaly detection a plus).
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Exposure to real-time monitoring systems and log analytics.
Soft Skills:
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
